Presumably the same holds true for all backward steps?

Does this say that you want to build a new school cos you are unreasonable,
and that is a good thing?

Why not try being reasonable, and just get on and learn something from an
existing school, rather than switching from school to school every time the
wind changes. "six years and a few schools" makes you a beginner 3 (a few)
times over. You may not find the new school is the ideal you aspire to. It
may be that such an ideal is not achievable. By all means try to achieve
the ideal, if you want, but perhaps bracing yourself for failure might be a
worthwhile precautionary measure.
